6.1 WORK PROGRAMME: Planned Activities… VIRTUAL EDEN - The Comenius Day at schools PHOTO EXHIBITIONS will be organised in all schools and public places. Students jointly create Virtual EDEN – the FINAL JOINT PRODUCT. Expected results: Students will finish their work on the final project – the Virtual garden. It will be presented on the Internet and there will be an exhibition in each school. Representatives of local authorities and media will be invited to participate in the schools’ Comenius Day Celebration.

ROMANIA
Comenius Day at Scoala cu clasele I-VIII nr.186 “Elena Văcărescu” 30 June 2010. A photo exhibition has been organised in our school to present the activities we have done so far. We invited parents and local people to enjoy the photos, pictures taken of the project.
In Poland the school broke up on 25 June. We decided to present the results of our year-long project work on that day when a lot of parents and officials visit our school. Due to the Comenius programme the photo club in the school was set up and many students, and even parents, joined it. During the Comenius Day we displayed the best work of Polish, Czech, Hungarian and Romanian participants in the project Virtual Eden.

Czech students have just finished all their tests and exams so it is a time to relax an have a rest. This atmosphere helped us to introduce Comenius project to everybody on Friday 18th June. A Comenius display was opened at the main school corridor and beside children and teachers also school visitors can see what we have collected since Virtual Eden project started. Postcards, leaflats, tourist materials, booklets about EU, books, presents from partner schools and many others.Hundreds of photos taken during project meetings and our work on Comenius activities were presented with help of an interactive board in the English classroom.
